Well we had a wonderful Christmas with our family and made it home safely.  It has taken me a couple of days to get back on my computer.  I’m ready for a long winters nap like that Christmas poem says.  Bonita is working and I’m finally finished putting everything away so I’m just being lazy sitting here at my desk when I’m not on the couch.

Well the New Year will be here soon.  I have so much hope for the new year.  This past one was a bit tough on a lot of people.  I hope and pray that the new year brings them what they need, what ever that may be.  Maybe it’s a job, or new car.  As long as it’s something that is good for them, I hope they find it.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Bonita and I have decided to go home for Christmas.  We started not to since we were just there for Thanksgiving but Momma asked us to come so we agreed.  I got a wonderful letter from Antonio.  He’s doing well and appreciated the home made cookies and goodies I sent to him.  He said he shared them with the others and they wanted me to know how much they appreciated them.

I told you I sent him a ‘care package’ didn’t I?  I made about 100 cookies and a bunch of candies and sent to him so he could share them with the other Marines.  I’m sure that most of them got things from home but I wanted to make sure they all had something.  They are over there by choice and we should appreciate it.  That was just my small way of letting them know.

Anyway, Bonita and I will be headed home on the 23rd.  She will have until December 26th off from work so we can have a nice visit with everyone.  I just hope we can get all of the presents in my little car.  Both of us have little cars and get good gas mileage.  Since we took her for Thanksgiving, we’re taking mine for Christmas.  It’s only fair that way.

Well I have a lot to do in the next two days.  I hope you’re finished with your shopping.  I am and have filled all the orders I had for my crafts.  I made more just in case someone decides they want one before Christmas.  If they do, they better let me know in the next two days or they won’t be able to get one until we get back.

Between shopping for Christmas and working on my crafts, I have just been so darn busy lately that I haven’t hardly had time to change my mind much less anything else.  I have had a heck of a time trying to find something for my parents.  Then when I was talking to Mom last night, she said her dishwasher is messing up.

Ah-ha!!  Finally something her and Papa need.  So I called all my brothers and sisters and we decided to get them a new dishwasher for Christmas.  That way, we can get them a really good one and none of us will have to spend a fortune either.  I told my brother to find them one up there and go ahead and purchase it.  He went to Lowes, do you know what Lowes is?  It’s a place where you buy tools, and grills and plants and I can’t think of what type of store they’re called.  It’s not a hardware store but you get the idea.

Anyway, I’m so darn tired right now I can’t think so I’m hitting the sack and will get back to you sooner, hopefully, than I did this time.  The countdown to Christmas has begun!!!!

I finished 25 clocks and delivered 19 of them today.  I gave a quarter for the plates, the clock parts were $2 each because I bought them in bulk and the hangers for the plates I also got in bulk and gave $1 each for them so I have about $5 at the most in each clock when you take in my time and electricity to my shop and heating it too.

Wanna know what I got for each of my clocks.  I got $15 each.  Not too bad of a profit, huh?  Bonita still likes her job and has even met someone she’s going to have lunch with tomorrow.  Now is not the time to start a relationship really with Christmas around the corner.  He sounds like a nice guy but we will see.  He is really cute I must say.
