I just found out that my brother, the one that’s just older than I am, is moving to New York.  I can’t believe it.  Now he’s shopping around for moving companies New York to see which one has the best rating before he just calls anyone to move all of his stuff. It’s a shame how spread out our family is becoming but people have to move to where they can find work and that’s why he’s moving.

With cooler weather coming on, I have really been thinking about adding one of those electric fireplaces like I have seen in a lot of peoples homes. I think they are really nice looking and do help heat your home too.  I love all of the other things we have done around here and I’m sure a fireplace would really set the living room off.

This morning it was so cool that I had to turn the heat on for the first time since summer more or less, ended.   I guess I better get a good stock of furnace filters so that I don’t forget to change them once a month. If I don’t have them on hand, I forget sometimes and that’s not good for your furnace at all.  It’s a lot cheaper to change your filter than to change your heater.

One thing I have learned very well is how to save money.  A lot of people have had to in this tough economy but I have become the queen of coupons.  I always check to see if I can find discount coupons before I buy.  If I can, then that gives me more money for my household bills, not to mention food.

One of the places I go the most often is Wal-Mart partly because of their prices and partly because that’s the closest big store to me.  I have even managed to find Wal-Mart discount coupons online.  Now how about that!!  Like I was taught, a penny saved is a penny earned!!

I’m ready for the season to be over even if sales were off just a bit but not nearly as bad as last year.  I really think that our new line of crafts Bonita and I have made helped.  They were really good sellers this year but boy did they keep Bonita and I busy!!

I’m ready for a break.  Maybe I’ll take a cruise or just go somewhere for a week or so.  It’s been a long time since I got away other than to go see my parents.
