Bonita and I have already been invited to a Halloween party believe it or not.  Now we really need to find costumes, maybe even some sexy costumes but not too sexy. Neither one of us is too comfortable in something too sexy but it sure doesn’t hurt to be a little sexy.  Besides, strange things happen on Halloween and we both could use a little excitement in our lives.

It’s Independence day and I hope all of you have big plans.  Maybe you’re going to a friends for a cook out or maybe you’re just spending a quite evening with someone you love watching fireworks.  Oh, fireworks aren’t very quite are they?  At any rate, I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July.  Bonita and I are spending time with friends.  I hope you are too.

I have a very special girlfriend from Virginia that has been not only a wonderful friend but has also been an inspiration to me too.  In fact, she’s the one that got me into blogging.  Her name is Noreen and I just want her to know how much I love her and apperciate all she has not only done for me but also for what she has been to me.  She’s been like a big sister or family member and that’s means more to me than all of the stars in the sky.  So here’s to you Noreen!!!!

Well another year has come and gone.  It was a good year in so many ways but it wasn’t so good in so many others.  The economy made it hard on so many people in my community but also everywhere else too.  I met a wonderful man that I can’t wait to see again when he comes home.  Bonita moved in with me and we are getting along wonderfully…………so far.

For the new year I have so much hope.  We have a new president coming into office that will hopefully work very hard on making things better for everyone here in America.  I feel ashamed of worrying when the people of my country have so much less than I do here.  They live on so much less and have so much less freedom that I am ashamed to complain.

I forgot all about telling you what I got for Christmas.  Momma and Pappa got me a TomTom.  You know one of those GPS things.  It’s great.  They got Bonita and I each one.  They said it’s so we can always find our way home.  Wasn’t that sweet?  We don’t need a TomTom to find our way home.  All we have to do is follow our heart and that will lead us home again.  Bonita got me a new cell phone, one that takes pictures, is a mp3 player and all kinds of stuff I have no idea how to use yet.  I got Bonita a digital camera, a Kodak because I trust that brand.  All in all, the new year is starting off wonderfully.

Well we had a wonderful Christmas with our family and made it home safely.  It has taken me a couple of days to get back on my computer.  I’m ready for a long winters nap like that Christmas poem says.  Bonita is working and I’m finally finished putting everything away so I’m just being lazy sitting here at my desk when I’m not on the couch.

Well the New Year will be here soon.  I have so much hope for the new year.  This past one was a bit tough on a lot of people.  I hope and pray that the new year brings them what they need, what ever that may be.  Maybe it’s a job, or new car.  As long as it’s something that is good for them, I hope they find it.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
