There is a huge water park in Nashville that has all kinds of water slides, fountains and water rides called, Nashville Shores. They opened several years ago but didn’t make much money and the owners sold it to another group of investors. Those guys put some more money into it, cut out a lot of expensive features and now they have a very popular water park.
I’ve not been there yet to take advantage of the water rides. I guess I’ve been thinking I need to have some kids along with me to have the proper amount of fun. As an adult with no kids, I don’t really like to go places that are so family focused. Frankly, I don’t enjoy being around other people’s kids all that much. I can take kids in small doses, but the crying and the screaming really gets on my nerves. But if my sister wants to come and bring her kids and spend the day over there with me, that might be fun for all of us.
